Romeo and Juliet is the story of two lovers and their families and friends. Throughout this website are pictures of people that I feel represent characters of the play Romeo and Juliet.

The following are photos of people that I think best represent Montegue, Benvolio, Capulet, Gregory, Romeo, and juliet.

Montague

Montague is the father of Romeo. "Many a morning hath he there been seen,With tears augmenting the fresh morning dew."

Capulet

Capulet is the father of Juliet. "What noise is this? Give me my long sword, ho!"

Romeo

Romeo is the son of Montague. Romeo falls in love with Juliet. "sad hours seem long."

Juliet

Juliet is the daughter of Capulet. She falls in love with Romeo.

Gregory

Gregory is a member of the Capulet house. He apears in the first scene with Sampson, and they both start a fight with Abraham (a Montague). "I will frown as I pass by, and let them take it as they list."

Benvolio

Benvolio seems to try and keep the peace between the Montagues and the Capulets. "I do but keep the peace: put up thy sword, Or manage it to part these men with me."
